Alicia started her journey with Beyond the Decor in 2016 after coordinating her best friend’s wedding. Through this 6 month journey, she fell in love with the process of organizing a wedding and after all the planning was done she decided to pursue the dream of being a business owner.
With over a total of 8 years of experience in event planning, including weddings and corporate events, Alicia loves to help people realize their dreams and visions all while taking on the role of a coach to help her couples feel grounded during a stressfree planning process.
Beyond the Décor is just one of her many passions. During the day she works with a large non-profit organization as a Project Manager for Events. She and her husband have a beautiful horse and 3 dogs who they spend their time with when they are not working.
Both her full-time job and full-time business keep her equally busy but also provide her with different outlets for her skills. She loves diversity in her work/life/business balance and feels so blessed to be able to have both opportunities in her life.
Last year Alicia and her husband decided to expand Beyond the Decor to include Wedding Planning services in Washington State. They are looking forward to helping some amazing couples achieve their wedding dreams internationally.
